Swollen and sore vein on inside of wrist02/07/2008 |
I had a massage today and the therapist pulled quite strenuously on my wrist in a downward motion towards my hand. It hurt while she was doing it (I told her so, of course) and felt like a severe wrist burn. Now the vein on the inside of my right wrist is swollen and very sore. It hurts quite a lot when my arm is hanging down. Should I keep it elevated? Any need to see a doctor? Thanks so much for your help.
Elevation, Advil or Ibuprofen and a warm compress may help. If no improvement in a day or two, you should see your doctor. Good luck!
