Does having hemochromatosis complicate surgery - regular or arthroscopic if you already are on maintenance phlebotomies (every 2 months)?
Thank you for your question. If the ferritin level is being adequately controlled by maintenance phlebotomies, risk from surgery shouldn't be any higher than for anyone else.
