High Blood Pressure |
What`s wrong with me?02/26/2008 |
I`m 29 years old I`m not overweight I have heart palpitations, fast heart beat and every time I get up from laying down I become very dizzy and at times my legs have given out on me. I`ve also noticed under my eyes have been getting darker and my lips somtimes look blueish also at times my vision gets foggy, and I keep getting headaches.
It is always difficult to assess a patient without having all the information, but a few points can be made:
You may be suffering from episodes of low blood pressure. This can be caused by an irregular heart beat, dehydration, anemia, or other problems. It would be best to see a physician and to get a physical exam and some basic laboratory tests. You should probably get at a minimum, a blood count, blood sugar, kidney function, thyroid function and an electrocardiogram. You may even need a 24 h recording of your heart beat (Holter monitor).
