Question:

Why is my 71 year old mother suddenly having bladder control problems fo three weeks now after being catheterized for hip surgery??????? She has never had any bladder control problems before this..

Answer:

The incontinence may be for a variety of reasons. Your mother should be seen by her physician. A urinalysis should first be examined to ensure that she does not have a bladder infection.
