COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) |
What can I do?02/25/2008 |
my husband just leaned that he has 33% of his lung working. He is having lots of trouble always tired and out of breath. I worry that this is part of end stages is it ? what can do to help him?
There are many conditions that effect lung function. Some are partially or fully reversible. Further information is needed to say if it is end stage or not.
It is very important that his pulmonary management be maximized. I would suggest that you make sure he sees a pulmonary specialist. It may also be helpful for you to attend some of his physician visits so you can get a clear understanding of his condition. This will give you insight into what you can do to support him.
