Swallowing, Laughing, and Belching Pain02/26/2008 |
I have been having pain when I swallow, laugh, breath deeply, and belch/hiccup. I fist noticed it recently after I took some medication (I have been on it for a long time) and it felt as if the pills became lodged in my throat/esophagus. It used to go away but now it`s an everyday thing. I can even feel it when I lay down. It`s mainly behind/below my sternum and slightly to the left. Sometimes I can even feel it in my back. Any ideas? Should I see a doctor?
You should see a doctor to rule out a problem with the esophagus or other chest organs.
