About congenital MG03/21/2008 |
Is it minimum curable. If 20% cure Then I can lead my life. Mestinon dont respond. Please help me.
I guess the question is whether congenital myasthenia, as opposed to acquired myasthenia, is curable. First, the congenital myasthenic syndromes are a diverse group of disorders, usually based on myasthenic symptoms since birth or childhood. Some types of congenital myasthenia can respond nicely to mestinon (pyridostigmine), while others do not. I do not know of a cure, just symptomatic therapy.
