Spacer bar03/06/2008 |
MY DAUGHTER HAS RECENTLY RECEIVED A SPACER BAR TO HOLD SPACE FOR A MISSING TOOTH. i WAS SUPRISED TO SEE IT DID NOT REACH THE BACK OF HER FRONT TEETH IS IT SUPPOSE TO?
You neglected to say if it is in the upper arch or the lower. There are ways to construct so called spacer bars in such a way as to hold space. In the upper arch especially the orthodontist may not want to have it resting on the teeth because of the way the lower teeth meet the upper teeth. You can certainly ask this question when in the office.
