How Much Aspirin Can a Person Take in a Day?
How much is too much Asperin to be taken in one day?
There is not a simple answer to your question. The amount of aspirin one person can take in a day varies depending on what a person is taking the aspirin for.
For example, a person with rheumatoid arthritis may take up to 6 grams (~18 325 mg tablets) a day, whereas someone using it for a healthy heart will only take 81 mg of aspirin a day. If one is just using it for normal, minor aches and pains or headache, the recommended dose of aspirin is 325 to 650 mg every 4 hours as needed with a maximum dose of 3.9 grams/day (12 tablets of 325 mg aspirin).
