Cortical cyst03/13/2008 |
I recently had a CT scan to check out a bladder stone that I developed due to a Prolene stitch in my bladder from a surgery 10 years ago. The CT scan showed a 4-5 mm cortical cyst mid kidney of the left kidney. Is this anything I should be concerned about?
Cysts are often described as simple or complex. If it was a simple cyst there is no worry. If it is a complex cyst it may need further investigation. Ask your doctor what type of cyst this was. The radiologist would have described it in the Xray report.
