High Blood Pressure |
The blood pressure doesn`t come down03/21/2008 |
My mum is on medication [micardis] but lately her bp has been high, 160/65. She follows a strict diet and exercises too. What else should she do?
Most patients with high blood pressure require at least two medications in order to get their blood pressure under control. If she only one medication, taking it every day as directed, and her blood pressure is that high (assuming that it is measured correctly), she needs to contact her provider about the need for additional medication.
