Arthritis and Rheumatism

Could Rheumatoid Arthritis Indirectly Cause Lupus?

My sister has pretty bad Rheumatoid Arthritis. Is there a chance she will get Lupus since her immune system is not going so well? She mentioned something about her white cells, but she is not anemic.

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) are distinctly different diseases. Severity of one's RA does not increase the risk of developing SLE.
