Veins burst in fingers and toes03/31/2008 |
For the last 13 yrs. I have been experiencing small vein bursts close to the surface in my fingers and sometimes toes. I can be doing nothing for this to happen. It hurts when it happens and then a bruise forms. I usually ice it to help it go away faster. I have spoken to several Docs and no one knows what it is. I am on no meds, have never smoked or drank, never use caffine and have never used drugs of any kind. I have always been very active and am not over weight and am otherwise very healthy. I have heard this happening to others and no one seems to know what the cause is. My only worry is do I have a greater chance of an anurism? Any suggestions?
I advise that you ask for a consultation with a hematologist, who can properly evaluate your symptoms. Thank you for visiting NetWellness.
