Child penile pain04/04/2008 |
How common is penile pain following circumcision and can it be cured or managed in a child aged 10 years old?
It depends on where the pain is and when the circumcision was performed. Sometimes, there is external scar tissue between the penile shaft and head of the penis that can be excised. In other cases, there is a narrow urinary opening. It would be helpful to have him seen by a urologist.
