3 year old hit her mouth on rug
my 3 year old daughter hit her mouth on rug from sitting position tonight, plaing around, her lip bled a tiny bit, but about an hour or so later she said her tooth hurt i looked and the right front tooth was a tiny but forward i touched it and it moved back in line i gave her some childrens motrin. will her tooth die? turn colors, or will it be ok? I am very upset ... does she need to see a dentist tommorrow?
Baby teeth can get loosened like your daughter's very easily and usually tighten up with no problems. It is important, however, to have her examined by a dentist soon. Your daughter's permanent teeth are developing beneath the baby teeth and your dentist wants to be certain that no infection occurs which could damage the developing teeth.
