Question:

I had a cortisone epidural injection in my back by L4-L5 area on Monday-since Wed am I have been feeling very nauseated and light headed-have no appetite at all. Could that be a side effect from the cortisone injection. I was also on Medrol(oral cortisone) the week before my injection. Or maybe I just have the flu?? An answer would be appreciated. Thanks

It is possible that your symptoms are related to the injection, but  you may also be experiencing symptoms from another cause.  An examination would help to sort out the two.  If your symptoms persist or worsen, I recommend that you call your doctor to arrange a follow up visit.
