Colon Cancer |
Slight discomfort left side, flank area04/03/2008 |
For over 6 months, I have had a slight ache or discomfort on my left side of my body at the naval level just above the hip bone. The ache seems to come and go sometimes more noticable than other times. However, it is not severe or intense. Sometimes it is not noticable. I had a colonscopy 18 months ago and 5 polyps were removed. Should I be concerned with this? If so what type doctor should I consult with?
It may be a problem with the colon such as spasm or a muscular problem. You should probably see your primary care physician initially.
