Head and Neck Cancer |
Lump on my neck04/09/2008 |
I have had a lump on the left hand side of my neck for about 2 months. It`s more or less in line were my jaw ends. I have had antibiotics as my nurse said it was my glands, but it hasn`t gone and I think it has got a bit bigger. Could it be cancer?
Any neck mass present for more than 2 weeks is considered abnormal and should be evaluated. You need a good head and neck evaluation, possibly a scan, and maybe even a biopsy. Make sure you see your physician. Without further work up, there is no way to tell if this is cancer.
