Lesion on Between Hard and Soft Palate04/09/2008 |
I have a crater-like lesion between hard and soft palate, but near jawbone. There is no discoloration and it is difficult to see anything there. It is quite small. My question is who would be best qualified to biopsy something like this, an oral surgeon or an ENT? Thank you.
This could be the normal opening point of your parotid (largest) salivary gland in that side. Both surgeons should be fine to evaluate first.
