Question:

hi doc, i am 25years old and unexpected pregnancy occured, but it did not stay long because i got miscarriage. my sonographic report stated that there is no adnexal masses nor fluid seen in the cul-de-sac but i am confirmed 4weeks pregnant. and, another findings that there is a small intramural myoma located in the posterior uterine body measuring 1.3 x 1.1 cm. Doc, is it possible that the reason of my miscarriage is myoma? is it possible that i will get pregnant again even if this will not removed on my uterus?

Answer:

Miscarriages are occasionally cause by fibroids but a relatively intramural fibroid would unlikely be a cause of your miscarriage. Fibroids can grow in pregnancy and that will be monitored during your pregnancy.
