temporary relief of my severe frequent sinus pressure until i see a doctor
Temporary relief of sinus pressure can come in many forms, the best form for a person depends on the cause of the sinus pressure and congestion. If there is general congestion, an over-the-counter decongestant may be helpful. Before using this or any medication, check with your doctor to make sure that it will not worsen any other medical conditions you may have. For short term relief (1-2 days) you can use a nasal spray decongestant. However, caution is necessary with these because use beyond one to three days can make symptoms worse and should be avoided. Finally, a simple saline irrigation lavage using a Neti Pot or squeeze bottle may be all that is necessary. This can be purchased at any pharmacy.
