Question:

my dad had an aka amputation a week ago. his stup is looking like it is becoming infected a little bit if bleeding through but some ares of pus betwee sutures.

what are signs to look for regarding infection?

Answer:

Systemic signs of infection would be fever and malaise. The wound would become erythematous (red) and there would be purulent drainage. It sounds as if this wound should be checked by the operating physician.
