Tooth removal05/07/2008 |
I recently had a tooth removed. The gums were stitched closed. Two days after, a flap of gums came loose from the stitch and I can see down to the bottom of the other tooth. Will the flap of gum mend back together with the rest of the gum? How long if so, does this take place? Are there any home remedies to speed up the process or help in healing it back together? Thanks for you help.
I do not understand the question very well. A hole after extraction is normal. You need to try to keep it clean during healing. You can do this by rinsing. If you have exposed bone or root surface, you have to be seen by your dentist.
