Menstrual cycle05/19/2008 |
I have been off the pill for 4 months. I have only had 1 period in that 4 months and I am not pregnant. Take in consideration that I was about 16 1/2 years old before I even got my first ever period and was never regular before getting on the pill at age 18. I am concerned about this and want to know if I should be. Any information you can give me would help! Thanks
It sounds like you have returned to the kind of cycle you had prior to going on the pill. This could be due to other medical causes like over/under active thyroid or pituitary growths that prevent the uterus from ovulating. This would stop menstrual cycles. Some women have a change in their cycles without good cause. You should have this investigated.
