help over hypersensitive to house dust, medicatins are not responding. this being going on for 5 month what can i do to help me feel better soon, my nose burns and feels real open on one side its has a cold feeling too, in one eye its has a cold feeling too.
I can't address your specific symptoms, but I can help you with some information on Dust Mite. One of the best ways to combat dust mite is by making environmental changes. These include dust mite proof covers for your mattress, pillow and box-spring; wash the sheets weekly in hot water (>130 degrees); dust hard surfaces; vacuum the carpet regularly; limit whole house humidity to 50% or less. These will decrease your exposure and will help with symptoms.
If you are still having trouble, you should talk with an allergist. There are many medicines available to help with dust mite symptoms. This include antihistamines, nasal sprays and others. If your symptoms are significant enough, you should talk with your doctor about allergen immunotherapy or allergy shots, this can decrease your overall sensitivity.
