Head and Neck Cancer |
Lump on left side of neck just below skull05/13/2008 |
My doctor said this is probably just a calcified tendon or lymph node. Shouldn`t those show up on Xrays,CT scans, or MRIs? Is there any other way to know for sure that`s what it is? And if it is that - should I be concerned about it?
Thank you for visiting NetWellness. Any neck mass present for more than 2 weeks is considered abnormal and should be evaluated. You need a good head and neck evaluation, possibly a scan, and maybe even a biopsy. Make sure you see your physician.
