My 2 year old frequently has breakouts in his diaper area. His doctor has diagnosed him with eczema because he has such sensitive skin. We`ve tried so many medications to try to avoid another breakout but nothing seems to help. He also was recently diagnosed with a staph infection. How can we avoid this constant cycle?
If possible, I would recommend an evaluation by a Board Certified Pediatric Dermatologist, one that specializes in children with skin diseases for the best answer as to the diagnosis and prevention/treatment suggestions. Please e-mail back if there are further questions after that evaluation.
