Infertility |
No fallopian tubes05/08/2008 05:27PM |
I do not have fallopian tubes but I do have ovaries, what are my pregnancy options?
If you do not have fallopian tubes, your only chances for conception would lie with IVF (in vitro fertilization). This involves stimulation of your ovaries with fertility medications to make more eggs, retrieval of those eggs, mixing the eggs with your partner's sperm in the lab and allowing fertilization and growth into embryos. Usually, two embryos are transferred into your uterus, with an option to freeze extra embryos. For more information about the IVF process, you should contact an infertility specialist.
