Breast Cancer

Fibroglandular

06/10/2008

Question:

Should I be alarm with findings there are scattered fibroglandular densities. In the upper out quadrant of the left breast there is a mass with wee circumsbribed margins stale. No dominant masses or cluster microcalcifications suggestive of malignancy are seen.

Answer:

Several of the words that you have typed in this question are incorrect - for instance, "wee" probably means "well".  I don't know what the word "stale" means.  Otherwise, what you describe are noncancerous findings on mammogram.

If you have questions about your mammogram results, you should contact the doctor who ordered the xrays.
