hi my question is when you have a siemen analyst done is it ok to have inercourse in that same week before the test or a few days before the test and the reason why i ask is because my husband had a siemen analyst done and two days before the test we had intercourse and when his test results came back they said that he had low sperm so what i was wondering if his test results came back with low sperm because we had intercourse two days before the test was performed.
The optimal time for abstinence before a semen analysis would be 2-5 days. Since his sperm counts were low at 2 days, I would probably go for 3-5 days of abstinence when he repeats his test.
