Chances of Spreading of Cancer Through Biopsies06/05/2008 |
What is the liklihood that biopsies or other procedures will release prostate cancer cells into the bloodstream and cause the cancer to spread? Has appropriate, definitive research been conducted on this topic?
To the best of my knowledge there is no data to support or even suggest that a prostate biopsy will result in the prostate cancer to spread.
