Prometrium and pregnancy06/11/2008 |
I didnt have trouble getting pregnant the 1st time, i was on birht control for 2 yrs, i stopped and have been trying to get pregnant for over a year, my doctor reccomended prometrium. I took it the first 7 days as prescribed and have not gotten my period yet the last dose was over 6 days ago. When can i expect to get pregnant or for that matter my period?
Usually, patients start a period within 1 week after finishing the prometrium, although sometimes, this can be as long as 2 weeks. Prometrium will not help you to conceive, and is used to either start your period, or sometimes, to help with implantation following ovulation.
