Foot bruise06/16/2008 |
mI dropped a 30 pound box on my foot it has been a wek now and it still looks bruised it get numb and if i am walking i sometimes fall from the numbness.I went to the doctor and no broken bones i think its more than a bruise but what else could it be?
It is possible that you damaged some nerves which would explain the numbness that you continue to experience. If you are falling from the numbness this may be a sign that there was motor damage to the nerve and this should be evaluated by a neurologist. While an x-ray will tell you if the bones had been affected it will not tell you if any nerve damage occurred.
