Question:

I would like to know for insurance reasons my grandmother is on hospice for the diagnosis of postinflammatory pulmonary fibrosis but we don`t know who to ask to pay for her 9 cm scoop cathers is this equipment considered to be related to her diagnosis?

Answer:

It is possible that either the insurance company will cover the cost or the cost may be included in the hospice service. You should start by checking with your home oxygen therapy company as they often have the best insight regarding insurance coverage of these types of supplies.
