Urinalysis07/23/2008 |
Hello. My urinalysis results is as below. Please let me know what the results mean and what medicines to take. I come from Kenya and the doctors here are very commercial. They are more interested in money than fast recovery. Please advise me first as I am very worried, and sometimes I have pains. Thanks.
Appearance: straw, moderately turbid pH: 6.0 Specific gravity: 1.005 Blood: ++ Pus cells: 4-5/hpf Epithelial cells: 2-3/hpf RBCs: 10-15/hpf
Many things can cause blood in the urine. You should see your doctor for further evaluation to rule out an infection, stone, medical problem with the kidneys and to exclude other more serious causes of blood in the urine such as a tumor of the urinary track.
