My 2 year old is missing several baby teeth.06/13/2008 |
My daughter just turned 2 and has 6 teeth on top(4 in the front and 2 molars), but on the bottom she just has 2 front teeth and 2 molars in the back, should I be concerned? She was 13 months when she got her first tooth.
Thank you for the question. There is a wide range for when teeth erupt and the order they come in. I would recommend that she been seen by a dentist, as the current recommendation is all children are seen by age 1 or eruption of the first tooth. A dentist will also be able to monitor how teeth come in and the order.
