Vaginal discharge

06/25/2008

Question:

I have been experiencing vaginal discharge during bowel movements for a few years since my daughter was born. It is just a small bit of clear discharge. It does not have an odor. It does not happen every time, just most of the time. Is this normal? What would cause this? My ob/gyn said that there was nothing to worry about. My pap came back normal. Can your body just change after the birth of a child?

Answer:

This sounds normal. Your Pap test was normal, there's no smell, if there's no pain on intercourse - this vaginal discharge is just normal body function.

Yes, your body can change after the birth of a child.
