Hemochromatosis |
Ferritin levels06/24/2008 11:01PM |
my ferritin level has gone from 1245 to 1970 in three mounths. thay have done cat scan and mri all results negitive. also tested for hemochromatosis also negitive. what next.
Although hemochromatosis has been ruled out, there are lots of other causes for elevated ferritin. You need to take this up with your doctor and ask what's next. Without knowing other data, I am not able to make further comments.
