Question:

Help! I have iron deficiency anemia, but cannot take Fe+ due to hemochromatosis. I get phlebotomies, but am extremely weak d/t low blood count. Am currently paying $1200/month for Epogen, which gives me relief and helps me build up quickly to be able to have the next phlebotomy. I need help with paying this amount. I have GHI-Medicare Rx insurance, and am on 4th appeal of their denial. Meanwhile, I almost bankrupt myself to pay for these shots.
