Small blood clots07/16/2008 |
I know I have the beginings of a UTI, but when I go to the bathroom I also pass small blood clots. This I have never done before when I had a UTI. Is this something I should be concerned about?
Bloodclots can certainly occur with a UTI. However if you have had UTI's before and have never had blood then it should be evaluated to make sure nothing else is is wrong. A Urologist would order an X-ray and do a Cystoscopy(look in the bladder with a telescope) in the office.
