Hepatitis C and gallbladder07/14/2008 |
What is the affect of Hepatitis C on gallbladder and other body organs?
There is no affect on your gallbladder that I know of with Hepatitis C. However, long term, if Hepatitis C causes you to develop cirrhosis, this can cause other organs to be affected, particularly stomach, esophagus, and brain with decreased mentation and many others. Your liver specialist should be able to offer you some brochures discussing the long-term effects of Hepatitis C.
