Can adult creams and ointment for yeast infections be used on children with yeast infections?
Yeast infections are caused by a fungus, Candida. Antifungal medicines are used to treat yeast infections. A yeast infection in a child should be evaluated by a doctor to make sure the proper medicine is used. Some antifungal drugs are used in both children and adults.Please talk to your doctor before beginning drug therapy for your child.
