Is it Safe to Take Magnesium Supplements While on Topamax?07/21/2008 10:17AM |
I was wondering is it safe to take magnesium supplements while being on Topamax. I take a Topamax dose of 150mg twice daily and 500mg magnesium tablet.
Magnesium supplements are not contraindicated with Topamax. No interactions between magnesium and Topamax are reported.
Please inform your doctor or pharmacist of any supplements you are taking to make sure the supplement doesn't counteract the Topamax.
