One my friends is suffering froma rare kind of disease.Under diagonosis the doctors have found out that te content of Carbon Dioxide has increased considerably. But yet the doctors has not found out the cause of the problem.Would like to know that, is this mixture of Carbon Dioxide and blood called carboxy heamoglobin
No, these are two different things. The elevated CO2 is likely related to kidney problems if it were high enough, and the carboxy Hgb refers to the carbon monoxide content of the blood.Hope that helps out. Let me know if you have other questions that I can help with.
