Stiff back

07/21/2008 04:38AM

Question:

I have RA in most of my joints. Every where except my back. My doctor did a CT Scan of my lower back and it showed that I have a buldge disc. I have no pain in my back at all. But the past few months my lower back has been stiff. Can a buldge disc cause stiffness with no pain? If not what else could it be?

Answer:

Yes, a bulging disk can cause stiffness without pain.
