Medicine appropriate for long uses10/13/2008 |
I am from Indonesia. My doctor diagnosed my child allergic and also has large adenoid. He prescribes Xyzal tablets for about 5 months. Xyzal contains Levocetirizine. Is it permitted for long uses? If I stop the medicine, my children will get cold again. Is my child allergic depend on medicine? Thank you very much
Xyzal is approved for long term use and as long as it is effective, you should not be apprehensive about giving it to your son. If he does not respond to it in the future, he should be evaluated by an allergist.
