Is Red Patch in the Mouth Sign of Oral Cancer?08/01/2008 |
I recently discovered a red patch in my mouth but it healed within a week. Could it still be a sign of oral cancer? Also,do Immunosuppressants increase the risk of cancer?
If the lesion has already healed, you should be evaluated only if it recurs. Immunosuppressed patient should always be very carefully evaluated for possible development of malignancies.
