Question:

WEVE BEEN TRYING TO GET PREGNANT FOR ALMOST A YEAR. THIS PAST MONTH I DID NOT OVULATE OR GET A PERIOD. MY DOCTOR GAVE ME PROVERA AND WAS TOLD TO TAKE IT ON DAY 32 OF MY CYCLE, IF I GET A NEGATIVE PREGNANCY TEST RESULT. ON DAY 32 THE PREGNANCY TEST CAME BACK NEGATIVE SO I STARTED PROVERA. MY LAST DAY ON THE MEDS WAS THIS PAST SATURDAY. I HAVENT BEEN FEELING VERY WELL AND HAVE BEEN TIRED LATELY SO FOR THE HECK OF IT I TOOK A PREGNANCY TEST TODAY AND IT CAME UP POSITIVE! WITH SUPRISE I TOOK ANOTHER TEST AND AGAIN IT WAS POSITIVE. MY QUESTION IS HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN AND SHOULD I BE CONCERNED FOR ANYTHING.

Answer:

It sounds as if you were fortunate and conceived on your own without treatment.  You should follow up with your doctor for OB care.
