my best friednd has had emphzima, for years is there any way to save her like lung trasplant, or nothing, or what can i do...i want to help her.....
Without knowing specifics about her lung function, it would be hard for us to tell whether she is a candidate for lung transplant or not. There are other options such as pulmonary rehabilitation, medications and lung volume reduction surgery for certain patients with emphysema. She should discuss this with her physician.
