Shoes and Hip Pain09/03/2008 |
I wore arch support in my shoes most of my adult life until recently. Now I`m experiencing hip pain and numbness in my left leg. Could the pain and numbness be a result of me not wearing the arch support in my shoes any longer?
It is certainly possible that the change in support may have caused alignment issues, however it could also be simply a coincidence and a symptom of a new problem. If you still have them you may want to put the supports back in your shoes however if your symptoms are getting progressively worse or not responding I would suggest an examination.
